The 21st century promises to be one of increasing globalization and global interaction. International Trade is being fueled by the rapid development of information and communication technologies (ICT).

Tyark International Trade Diploma is designed for

• individuals who are new to exporting or importing and serious about exploring global market opportunities.

Career Prospects

Because of the multidisciplinary nature of international trade, the career possibilities are virtually endless. Graduates can work in either the private or public sector, as an employee, a contractor, or can start his or her own company.

Typically, in an export-import office, whether the company is large or small, the graduates can work in the following areas:

• International marketing and sale;
• Shipping and logistics; or
• Procurement.

Program Framework

Tyark International Trade Diploma consists of eight courses that can be taken as a comprehensive package or individually, that focus on the practical aspects of international business, including logistics, trade finance, nation-by-nation marketing opportunities, market entry strategies, and sound international management techniques. It is an essential toolkit, based on everyday, real-life examples of what works and what doesn’t in international trade.

Each course is the equivalent of 45 hours in length and covers 120 topics.

Global Entrepreneurship, International Trade Finance, International Logistics, International Market Entry and Distribution, and Legal Aspects of International Law are all exam-based courses. International Marketing, International Trade Research, and International Trade Management are project-based courses. Each exam/project is assigned a value of 85%; a participation mark of 15% completes the value of the exam/project.

Methods of Delivery: 

Tyark International Trade Diploma is delivered in several arrangements to best fit the participants’ needs.

Full-time the program incorporated into a full-time business program
Fast track Friday evenings and all day Saturday
Compressed All assignments must be completed prior to classroom instructions. Two days of classroom instruction are provided. Afterwards, each participant works independently, maintaining contact with the instructor. Third days after the course end date, the instructor conducts a three-hour review followed by a three-hour exam.
On-line course offered over 10 weeks via the internet
