Q.
I get a message indicating "You are not authorized to take courses. Please contact your administrator." when I try to logon to the Internet or an intranet.
A.
If a student is not assigned to a group or if a student is assigned to a group with no courses, they will see no courses and will see this message instead. If you encounter this message, please see your administrator to have them make the required changes.
Q.
I have finished the course but still show no score for some units.
A.
No score is generated until all the questions in the unit have been answered. If a student skips a question in a unit, that unit has not been completed and the unit score remains 0%. If the student gets the purple ! (Hint) but does not "try again" to get the Green Checkmark (Correct) or Red X (Incorrect) scoring, the question has not been considered answered. To verify if the student has unanswered questions go to the Navigate page, click Scores, and click the option to view a list of questions not answered.
Q.

Questions
Q.
How Do I Print Course Exercises (individually or all at once)?
A.
If you wish to print individual exercises: Click the “Print” button on your browser when you are on the exercise page you wish to print out a hard copy of. This is the most simple and expedient method to use for printing an individual exercise.
If you want to print all the exercises from a course at once: You can copy a file containing all the exercises to your machine. Then you can print or view the exercise file using Adobe Acrobat Reader. To copy the file, click on the MindLeaders Navigate button from within the course you wish to print exercise files from. Next click on the “About This Course” link followed by the “Printing Exercises” link. You only need to do this once per course.
You will then be prompted to save the file that you will run to install the exercise file and Acrobat Reader. Save the file on your hard drive in any directory. After the file is saved, run it from Explorer or File Manager and follow the instructions. The exercise file and Acrobat Reader will then be installed.

When clicking "Do It" while taking a Tyark course from the Internet, I am taken to a white page with a Shockwave link.
Authorware Web Player is a plug-in that expands the functionality of the browser. Some Tyark courses make limited use of Authorware Web Player in order to more closely simulate the actual application. These product simulations are optional, so you don't have to download this plug-in. If you decide to run the simulations, download the latest version of Authorware Web Player to view the course. After clicking the Authorware Web Player link on the white page, follow the instructions for downloading and installing the version of Authorware Web Player appropriate for your version of Windows.
After clicking "Done" to answer a question while taking the Tyark course from the Web server or the Internet, I am taken back to the “Take a Course” page.
Q.
I'd like to report an error in one of the courses. Who should I contact?
A.
Send the URL of the Web page and a description of the error to webmaster@tyark.com. |
