WEB DESIGN I
This course is an overview of web
page development tools. It focuses on FrontPage and Publisher.
Participation in this course is intended to give students an opportunity to
develop design principles and skills for publishing documents on the World Wide
Web. Students will interact with a variety of web publishing software programs
and will work with general design principles to develop a series of web pages
that link.
Front Page 2000
Description:
Students
will learn FrontPage 2000 features to create web pages and manage web sites for
the World Wide Web or their corporate intranet.

Objective
This course
prepare you to create web pages, create and maintiain Webs using FrontPage 2000.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Apply web site design considerations when creating a web site with a
wizard. Students will also be able to add and modify structural elements in an
existing web.

Apply web page design concepts to create and modify web pages by using
frames.
·
Build a web-based form to collect and store user data.
·
Modify pictures as well as add sound and web components (such as rotating
banner ads, marquee text, and ActiveX controls) to their web pages.

Use reports and tasks to manage and collaborate on web site creation.

WEB DESIGN II
This course focuses on web page
development technologies and is structured to expose students to various
technologies that improve web site management and planning. Students will
interact with a site management/development tool (e.g., Dreamweaver) and one of
the leading interactive multimedia authoring tools in the field (e.g. Flash).
You will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of both applications
through in class demonstrations, hands-on lab instruction and assignments
consisting of developing instructional sequences

work with imported graphics, will incorporate text, and will learn to create
several types of animations.
