Tyark College is accredited to deliver both TEF and TEFaQ tests for students.

These tests are useful especially for the immigration procedure: The results students get from the TEFaQ are recognized by the Ministry of Immigration and Cultural Communities of Quebec (MICC). While the results students get from the TEF are recognized by Citizenship and Immigration Canada at their selection interview and through their permanent residence request. These tests provide an objective assessment of the candidate's level of French which immigration officers like to rely on.

The TEF is also useful for candidates wishing to work in Canada as immigration consultants. A sufficient test result is a requirement to become a member of the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants.
