Tyark College is accredited to deliver both TEF and TEFaQ tests for students.

These tests are useful especially for the immigration procedure: The results students get from the TEFaQ are recognized by the Ministry of Immigration and Cultural Communities of Québec (MICC). While the results students get from the TEF are recognized by Citizenship and Immigration Canada at their selection interview and through their permanent residence request. These tests provide an objective assessment of the candidate's level of French which immigration officers like to rely on.

The TEF is also useful for candidates wishing to work in Canada as immigration consultants. A sufficient test result is a requirement to become a member of the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants.

The TEF is a test especially useful to two kinds of candidates: first, the candidates who asked Citizenship and Immigration Canada either their immigration or their permanent residence; then, the candidates who would like to be admitted to the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants, to work as immigration consultant and bear such a professional title. The TEF has up to five different parts: reading, listening, speaking, writing, vocabulary and grammar.

Le TEF comprend cinq parties: la compréhension de textes, la compréhension orale, l'expression écrite, l'expression orale, le vocabulaire et la grammaire.

The Test of Evaluation of French adapted to Quebec - TEFaQ - is the version of the TEF (Test of Evaluation of French) required by the Ministry for the Immigration and the cultural Communities of Quebec (MICC) within the framework of a request for visa for Quebec.

The TEFaQ is a test whose results can be recognized by Immigration-Québec in the process of a selection for immigration to obtain a CSQ. The TEFaQ has two parts: listening and speaking.
